Main pages
The Main Pages show the lists of all FGs in the mission, the list of all Messages in the mission, and the Teams settings. Each page can be individually resized, so if you want the Messages page wider than the FG page, just drag the right edge across. Changing pages also changes the "state" of the editor.  When you choose the Messages page, the Datapad will automatically display the Message editing interface. When you choose the Teams page, the Datapad will automatically show the interface for editing the Global Goals for the current Team.

An important feature to be aware of when selecting from the list in AlliED is multi-selecting changes. This feature is available for the Ship List and the Message List and means that when you make a change, it effects all selected FGs or Messages. Selections can be multi-selected using the Shift key, or use the CTRL key for non-consecutive items.

Multiselect before
Multiselect After
All parameters for Flight Groups are multi-selectable. This example shows Global Group, Global Unit, Waves, FG Size, Ship Type, Ship Name, FG Goals, and Tactical Role being changed for multiple FGs at once. All parameters for Messages except Text are are Multi-selectable.

Multi-selecting also works for Move Up, Move Down and Deleting Items.

The Flight Groups page shows the list of all FGs in the mission and allows you make changes to the list such as adding or deleting craft or changing their order. When you choose the Flight Group page, the floating toolboxes will return to the state they were in when you last left the FG page.
The FG List shows many of the details of the Ships in the Mission at a glance.
