X-wing Mission reporting information

The basic mission report required is a summary of the information given by the game at the end of the mission. This should include any of the following that are applicable:

Whether the mission was a success or a failure
The goals failed
The goals completed
Kills
Craft lost
Lasers fired, hits, and percentage
Ion blasts fired, hits, and percentage
Missiles fired, hits, and percentage

Here is an example of Colonel Dev Azzameen's PBF 7.01 report.

The prefered method of reporting your score requires the use of the XMR program. Found at the PBF Files library. Download and install the XMR, when you first run the program it will ask you a series of question you can, for the most part, leave blank. HOWEVER, please hit the button with the "..." on it, and select PBF Standard Scoring Table. That way when you load your pilot files you will have a very accurate report to generate. You can then copy all that info into an email and attach your pilot file and them mail them off to your Training officer.
The XMR method is prefered, due to all the information contained in the pilot file. This way you can see how you are doing and what you can work on in future flights.

COPY ALL of the information displayed from either reporter into a new email, attach the pilot file you just reported on, and mail it to your Flight Instructor.

TIE Fighter reporting

There is no TIE FIghter Pilot generating program at this time. To submit a report on a Tie Fighter mission, you must email your pilot file (*.TFR) to your instructor. If you would like, you may also take screen shots of the mission debriefing (3-5 Screen shots; required to graduate with honors). Screen Shots maybe be taken by pressing ALT-O (letter o), or by pressing Print screen and pasting into a graphics program (Each press of the print screen will save new info, so it's print screen, paste into graphics program, go back to game and get to the next page of the debreifing, and repeat). If you have any questions you may contact your flight instructor.

Other Notes:

Once you graduate to a squad, your new Squad CO will inform you as to who you will send your mission reports and pilot files to. The above instructions applies to all pilots in the PBF, not just cadets. the only thing that changes is who you have to email.

Please Note: There will be NO editing of ANY files on your part. If you are found to have edited your pilot file, the mission files, or any other files you will be dismissed from the academy immediately. We don't tolerate cheating of any kind.
