X-Wing Collectors Edition CD

When The Maker created the game of X-Wing, he never intended to store all the missions on CD, nor did he intend to have people run custom missions.

It is because of these facts that the Collector's Edition of X-Wing has the most problems with running custom missions. With a bit of work it is easily possible to run the custom missions with the CD version using one of two programs:
XCD and
XCDR.

Both of these programs work by telling the X-Wing game to exchange the missions it is supposed to run with the custom missions that the pilots want to run. It is not such an easy task to setup XCD or XCDR but once they are set up running custom missions is quite easy indeed.
