X-Wing Collectors Series (XW95)

The X-Wing games has gone through a number of versions up to the release of the Collector's Series.The new graphics in the Collector's Series are impressive, and bring new life to a great classic.

The running of custom missions is not hard with this version, since the mission files are stored on the hard-drive of the computer.
1)Default directory: "C:\Program Files\LucasArts\XWING95\X-Wing Data\MISSION"
If you installed the program in a different directory, follow the link to the Sub-directory "Mission".

2)Rename the "Mission" directory to the name "MsnOrg". Create a new folder called "Mission" in it's place. When you finish playing your custom files, you may want to restore the orginal "Mission" directory. To do that, rename the current "Mission" directory which holds the custom missions, to the name "Custom"

3) Decompress the mission files to the new "Mission" directory.You should have two files in the compressed file. Example: "JediWar1". The names of these files will be:
JediWar1.xwi
JediWar1.brf

4) Rename the files that you installed in the "Mission" directory as follows:
"JediWar1.xwi" to "DEFECT.xwi"
"JediWar1.brf" to "DEFECT.brf"

5)Once you have done this you are ready to run the custom mission. Start the game and go to the "New Tour" section (door on the right side of the station) and enter the X-Wing Tour 1.Once inside the briefing room you will see the details of the mission.
